I made another card with the set Mouthwatering. I really love all the images in this set. For this card I also used the new cherry scented embossing powder from the Occasions mini. I don't do much heat embossing but this new powder caught my eye. I wish you could smell through the computer! It smells so yummy. I colored the stamp with my markers. My color combo is Early Espresso, Old Olive and Riding Hood Red. I diecut that with the new Labels Framelits. My sentiment is from an old retired set but I thought it went great with this image. I punched that with the Word Window punch and layered it on the Modern Label punch. My background panel is embossed with the Houndstooth folder. I added a little ribbon and a few pearls for embellishment. Thanks for stopping by!

Fresh Vintage with First Edition DSP
I made another card using the Fresh Vintage SAB stamp set. This pretty flourish makes a nice background focal point. I stamped it on First Edition DSP. My color combo is Riding Hood Red, Basic Black and Very Vanilla. I stamped the border stamp from the Fresh Vintage set along the bottom. It's a little hard to make out in the picture. My sentiment is from the retired set Watercolor Trio. The elegant font is a nice addition to this card. I punched that with an oval punch and layered it on a label die cut from the Lots of Tags set. I made a ruffled flower from the First Edition DSP and added an Antique brad to the center. Finally I corner rounded an opposite top and bottom corner for a little added interest. Thanks for stopping by!

Second Project for Colette's Workshop
Here's the second project I have planned for my upcoming workshop. For this card I used the ice cream cone from the set Mouthwatering. My color combo is Calypso Coral, Pool Party and Soft Suede. The DSP is from the Occasions mini. It's called Sweet Shop. The background is embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots folder. I added a scallop punched strip and layered some baker's twine on top. My sentiment is from the hostess set Perfect Words. I punched that with the Modern Label punch. Finally I finished it off with a Jelly Bean designer brad. I hope everyone likes it! Thanks for stopping by.

First Project for Colette's Workshop
I have a workshop coming up this weekend for my friend Colette. Here's the first project I have planned. This card uses Apothecary Art with the coordinating Framelit label set. I colored the flowers with a blender pen and an ink pad. The DSP is a SAB item called Everyday Enchantment. My color combo is Lucky Limeade, Poppy Parade and Calypso Coral. My card base is embossed with the Finial Press folder. I punched two borders with the scallop ribbon and scallop edge punches. Finally I added a little organdy ribbon. This is also a SAB choice this year. Thanks for stopping by!

Gnome Sweet Gnome
I was fortunate to receive the Gnome Sweet Gnome set free from Stampin Up. This is the first card I've made with the set. I haven't been doing much watercoloring lately but I had fun with this one! My color combo is Lucky Limeade, Calypso Coral and Whisper White. My DSP is from the Sweet Shop pack. This particular design is embossed. It's a little hard to tell in the photo but it's very cute. The hearts are die cut with the Fashionable Hearts embosslit. The scalloped border is cut from the Tasteful Trim die. I layered some ruffled ribbon on top of the border. My sentiment is punched with the Decorative Label punch. Finally I added an Itty Bitty button with a little Baker's Twine. Thanks for stopping by!

Button Buddies Flower Vase
I still really love the set Button Buddies. I think it's my favorite set in the current catalog. For this card I used the cute little flower vase colored with my markers. My color combo is Rose Red, Marina Mist, Perfect Plum and Lucky Limeade. My sentiment is from the hostess set Perfect Words. I also added a border stamped from the SAB set Fresh Vintage. I corner rounded the bottom corners of all my layers and added a little ruffled ribbon for embellishment. Thanks for stopping by!

One More Valentine
I think this is my last Valentine for the year! I made quite a few this season and really liked them all. For this card I pulled out my Movers and Shapers die. I need to use this die more often! It makes a super fast card. I die cut the heart cut out and then embossed the card base with the Finial Press folder. My heart stamp is from the set Take It to Heart. I punched those out with my heart punch. My color combo is Real Red, Rich Razzleberry and Regal Rose. I added a little scrunched ribbon to finish it off. Thanks for stopping by!
