Here's another Christmas card for my personal stash. For this card I used this week's sketch challenge at Paper Pal Arts - PPA66. My focal image is the stamp Dasher. I added a little Dazzling Diamonds to his antlers. The Santa tag is from the set Tags til Christmas. I punched this out with my tag punches. The sentiment is from the wheel Jolly Jingles. I punched this out with the Decorative Label punch. The color combo is Baja Breeze, Garden Green, Real Red and Blushing Bride. I used the DSP Candy Cane Christmas. I punched my DSP with the Scallop border punch. I finished with a couple rhinestones and some ribbon. Thanks for stopping by!

The DSP is some retired SU that I've been trying to use up. I used the ornament punch, scallop ribbon punch and scallop edge punch. I matted my ornament on a label die cut with my Nestabilities. Splitcoast Color Challenge CC293
I really liked the color challenge last week at Splitcoast - CC293. These colors are a lot of fun together - Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Concord Crush. I decided to pull out a set from last Christmas that never saw enough ink. The snowflakes are from the set Patterned Pines. I love the style of these snowflakes. The stamped image is very crisp and striking. I stamped the three snowflakes and then die cut them with my Nesties. I punched several strips with my scallop border punch and layered them along the bottom. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes. I added some ribbon and a few rhinestones to finish it off. Thanks for stopping by!

Vintage Peaceful Wishes
I've really been on a vintage kick lately and I think this is one of my favorites. I used an old stand by retired set called Peaceful Wishes. For the background I layered the Very Vintage wheel and a Script background stamp. I used my color spritzer to add to the vintage effect and sponged the edges. The DSP is some retired SU paper that I have been trying to use up. My color combo is Early Espresso, Old Olive and Riding Hood Red. I embellished with some crochet trim and an antique brad. I just got the brads and I think I like them. They are on the large side but really pretty. Thanks for stopping by!

Here's another vintage card for a couple of this week's challenges. Just Add Ink - JAI40 and Techno Stamper Sketch - TSSC144. I used the stamps Vintage Vogue and the wheel Very Vintage. The color combo from Just Add Ink is Sahara Sand, Bashful Blue, Pear Pizzazz and Blushing Bride. It's kinda hard to see in the photo but I spritzed the background with Smooch Spritz. For the focal image I colored on the stamp with my markers and sponged the edges. I punched the bottom edge with the scallop border punch and finished with a few pearls. The sentiment is from the set Because I Care. Thanks for stopping by!

Splitcoast Sketch Challenge SC303
I decided to play along with this week's sketch challenge at Splitcoast Stampers - SC303. I just got some of the new crochet trim in my last order. I made this vintagey card to go with the trim. I don't usually do vintage projects but I like how this turned out. My color combo is Marina Mist, Crumb Cake and Early Espresso. I stamped with the set Because I Care. I inked the flower with Marina Mist and then I colored a few random spots with my Crumb Cake marker. The Crumb Cake strip is stamped with the wheel Very Vintage. I don't normally buy wheels but I got this one and unmounted it. This stamp rocks unmounted! I don't know why I didn't do that sooner. The large ovals are die cut with Nestabilites. The sentiment is punched with an oval punch and layered on a die cut tag from the Sizzlet set Lots of Tags. I used my color spritzer here and there to give it a more vintage look and finished with a couple pearls. Thanks for stopping by!

Sweet Sunday Sketch 89
Here's my card for this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch - SSSC89. I really liked this sketch. I think I'll be using it again in the future. I used the SU ornament set Tree Trimmings. I used the color scheme from the Candy Cane Christmas DSP - Baja Breeze, Garden Green, Real Red and Blushing Bride. Sometimes it's just easier to let your DSP be your guide! I used the Scallop Ribbon edge punch and the Scallop Border punch. The sentiment is from the wheel Jolly Jingles and I punched this with the new small oval punch. My circle embellishments are pieces of chipboard covered with DSP and then topped with the epoxy pebbles from a Build-a-Brad set. I don't have any brads left but I have lots of the little pebbles left over. I like the look on chipboard. It adds some nice dimension. Thanks for stopping by!!

Friday Sketchers 124
Here's a card for this week's challenge at Friday Sketchers. I pulled out a retired SU set called Snow Buddies. I didn't get to use this much last year so I decided to hang onto it for another year. It's a fun 2 step stampin set. I colored this with reinkers and an aquapainter. The DSP is Candy Cane Christmas and I used that for my color scheme - Garden Green, Blushing Bride, Real Red and Baja Breeze. The sentiment is from the wheel Jolly Jingles. I punched this with the tag punches and added a Glimmer brad with a little ribbon. The ovals for the snowman and mat were cut with Nesties. I finished with rounding most of the corners with my corner rounder punch. Thanks for stopping by!!

SU Only Challenge 3
Here's another card using French Foliage. I think this stamp set has turned out to be my favorite from the Holilday Mini. I don't usually make many fall cards but this set makes it so easy! I made this card for the challenge at SUO Challenges - SUOC3. The challenge was to use something from the Holiday Mini. I also used a Verve sketch from a couple weeks ago. The DSP is Autumn Spice from the Holiday Mini. It's hard to tell from the photo but this DSP is so nice. It's heavy weight and textured, just beautiful. I stamped with a bunch of fall colors - More Mustard, Early Espresso, Cajun Craze and Old Olive. My sentiment is from the set Fabulous Phrases. I first punched it with the Word Window punch and then I used the Tiny Tag punch to punch just one end for the hole. I added a button and some linen thread. I think these are my new favorite embellishments. I seem to be using them a lot lately!! Thanks for stopping by!..

The color combo is Rich Razzleberry, Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turquoise and Pear Pizzazz. I was in the mood for some bright cheery colors! I used the Tasteful Trim die to cut the scalloped edge piece. My sentiment is punched with the Tiny Tags punch. I added this to a button tied with some linen thread. Another Sweet Scoops Card
Here's another quick card using the Sweet Scoops set. I think this is one of my all time favorite sets. I've never made a card I didn't like with this set! This one is clean and simple. I traced a partial rectangle onto some Whisper White cardstock with a Soft Suede marker. I stamped the ice cream cone in the bottom corner. I used Mambo Melon and Soft Suede ink. To get the shaded effect I inked the stamp, stamped off once and then sponged a little more ink on just one side. Quick and easy! Thanks for stopping by!

2 Sketches 4 You 62 & Color Q 53
Here's a cute card for a couple of this week's challenges. I really wanted to play with my Sweet Scoops set so I thought blue ice cream?? Sure, why not! I love the "kissing" technique option with this set. It really adds a lot of texture to the little scoops. I used the color combo from the Color Q - cQc52. The colors are Pear Pizzazz, Pacific Point, Baja Breeze and Pumpkin Pie. What a fun combo! The sketch is from 2 Sketches 4 You - 2s4y62. I added a few Itty Bitty buttons and the scalloped edges were punched with the Scallop Ribbon punch. Thanks for stopping by!
