Summer Vacation MDS Page

Lucky in Vegas Digi Layout

A few weeks ago I took a business trip to Las Vegas.  It was a really great trip.  I'd never been before but I will definitely be going back!  The highlight of my trip was winning an iPad2 at the vendor fair.  I was so excited!  I knew I needed to make a layout.  I used the Plentiful kit from the Shabby Shoppe.  This layout also uses the template from the Shabby Shoppe's Blog Challenge 18.  My font is a freebie called Just Realize.  The photos are a little blurry but I still love how this turned out.  Thanks for stopping by!

MDS Catamaran Cruise

I've been working on some vacation layouts.  Here's one of my favorites of my husband.  We went on a Catamaran cruise while in Jamaica last winter.  I got some good shots of him using the slide.  For this page I used My Digital Studio.  The kit I used is from The Sweet Shoppe and it's called Love of Family.  This kit was primarily designed for fall layouts but I like the colors with these pictures.  My journaling font is from Darcy Baldwin.  It's called Another Mandy.  Thanks for stopping by. 

MDS Snug as a Pug

Stampin Up is holding another My Digital Studio contest.  I decided it give it another try this year.  Even if I don't win, at least I get some scrapping done!  This layout didn't make the cut but I still love it so I thought I'd share it.  My husband took this shot of our pug Oliver.  He's such a cutie!  I used MDS to make this page with the Noteworthy hostess kit from the catalog.  For embellishments I used paper buttons, pearls, ribbon and some stitching.  My color combo is Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler, Pool Party and So Saffron.  I think my favorite part of this layout is the daisy chain border.  That came out really well!  Thanks for stopping by!

Another Vacation MDS Page

I'm slowly making progress on my scrapbooking pages from our vacation last April.  Here's another page I made using My Digital Studio.  I love that MDS is so easy to use. MDS Jamaica Digi Page

I've been slowly working on the scrapbook pages from our vacation last April.  I've got a handful done so I thought I'd post one today.  I made this page with My Digital Studio.  The paper and elements are from a kit from Sweet Shoppe Designs called Tropical Hideaway.  The stitched elements are from a recent SU download called Simple Stitches and Corners.  I love this download!  I've always really liked the look of stitching on my pages but dragging out the sewing machine is such a pain.  Now its soooo simple with MDS!  I love scrapping this way.  I had second thoughts about posting this page since there are dreaded bathing suit shots...UGH!  But, I really like how it turned out and I kept the picture of me pretty small...LOL.  Thanks for stopping by!

MDS Vacation Layout

I worked on this layout at the crop I attended a few weeks ago.  It was the first time I went to a crop and scrapped digitally.  I don't think I'll ever go back to dragging all my stuff to another crop!  It was so convient to just grab my laptop and go.  I used My Digital Studio to make this layout.  The elements are from a kit from Sweet Shoppe Designs called Trocial Hideaway.  While we were on vacation Keith did a little waterskiing.  It was a lot of fun to scrap these photos.  I love how this layout turned out.  Thanks for stopping by!

MDS Mexico Layout

Well, it's that time of year again.  I'm longing for spring and I can't wait for vacation.  So I've been scrapping some old vacation pictures to take my mind off the snow coming down outside!  These pictures are from a family cruise we took a couple years ago.  This was an awesome day at the beach.  I used My Digital Studio to create the page.  However, all of my elements are non SU.  I love how easy it is to incorporate any digital items using MDS.  There are soooo many products on the market that it can be a little overwhelming.  I purchased this kit from the Sweet Shoppe.  It's called Fall Moments.  The only additional element I used is the little tag with my journaling.  That came from a kit called Oodles of Tags 2 also from the Sweet Shoppe.  How I wish I were there right now!!  Thanks for stopping by.

MDS Jamaica Sunset

I don't know about anyone else but I'm starting to get a little sick of winter!  Here in the Adirondacks we still have at least 2 more months of winter.  Boy is that depressing!  So I decided to post this page I made from our vacation to Jamaica last year.  I can't wait to go again!  I kept this page pretty simple because I wanted the picture to stand out.  The sunsets were so beautiful in Jamaica.  For elements on this page I used the Medallion stamp, an antique brad, and a clip with a little ribbon.  To give the background some dimension I used the Vintage Overlays.  Thanks for stopping by!

My Non Winning MDS Contest Entry

Well, I didn't win the Stampin Up My Digital Studio contest but I thought I would post one of my entries anyhow.  I just love this picture of my baby Oliver.  All of the elements on this page are from Stampin Up.  I used My Digital Studio to create the page.  My favorite part of this page is the background.  I layered a Vintage Overlay along with one of the designs from the Presto Patterns download.  I love how it creates a nice subtle frame and adds dimension to the page.  Thanks for stopping by!

MDS Jamaica Scrap Page

Here's another scrapbook page I made with My Digital Studio. We did some snorkeling on vacation in Jamaica. I just love this picture of my husband! I knew I had to scrapbook it. All of the elements on this page are from Stampin Up. For the background I used a layer of DSP from the Night & Day download. I lowered the opacity so the background cardstock is visible underneath. Another Jamaica Digi Scrap Page

Here's another scrapbook layout from our Jamaica vaction.  This page was made entirely with My Digital Studio SU elements.  The circle grid paper is an add on kit called The Write Stuff.  The ruler is also an add on from the Vintage Overlays download.  I think the Vintage Overlays are probably my favorite download SU has created.  They are so versatile and add tons of dimension to my pages.  Looking at these pictures makes me miss Jamaica.  I wish I was there right now!  Thanks for stopping by.

Digital Scrap Page

I've been on a scrapbooking kick the last few weeks so I thought I'd post one of the digital pages I've finished.  I'm working on the photos from our vacation to Jamaica last spring.  These pictures are a little fuzzy but it was the first time I'd ever been parasailing so I had to scrap them!  It was so much fun.  I used Stampin Up's program My Digital Studio to make this page.  Most of the elements are from SU.  I added the turquoise flower and scalloped ring from a kit by Eva Kipler.  I'm totally converted to digital scrapbooking!  I love this form of media.  Thanks for stopping by!

Digi Jamaica Page

Here's a quick digital page I put together of one of my favorite pictures from vacation.  I used My Digital Studio and a few freebie elements I found at Two Peas in a Bucket.  I'm using this for my Desktop background on my computer.  I think I'm fully converted to digi scrappin for myself.  It's so much easier and cheaper!!
