I missed the dealine for last week's Color Q challenge but I really liked the combo so I decided to post it anyway - cQc56. The combo is Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie, Garden Green and Certainly Celery. I used the SU set Morning Cup. I watercolored this with an aquapainter and my reinkers. The focal image is die cut with Nesties. The scallop borders were cut with the Tasteful Trim die. The DSP is Island Oasis from the Summer mini. The background was stamped with Itty Bitty backgrounds. I punched the sentiment with the Jewelry tag punch. I finished with some linen thread and a corduroy button. Thanks for stopping by!

2 Sketches 4 You 62 & Color Q 53
Here's a cute card for a couple of this week's challenges. I really wanted to play with my Sweet Scoops set so I thought blue ice cream?? Sure, why not! I love the "kissing" technique option with this set. It really adds a lot of texture to the little scoops. I used the color combo from the Color Q - cQc52. The colors are Pear Pizzazz, Pacific Point, Baja Breeze and Pumpkin Pie. What a fun combo! The sketch is from 2 Sketches 4 You - 2s4y62. I added a few Itty Bitty buttons and the scalloped edges were punched with the Scallop Ribbon punch. Thanks for stopping by!

ColorQ 52 Challenge
Here's my card for this week's ColorQ challenge - cQc52. This week was a sketch challenge with any past color combination. I chose cQc18 - Mambo Melon, Baja Breeze, Old Olive and So Saffron. I really like this combo for a nontraditional Christmas card. The bright, cheery colors are fun and retro! The ornament is from the Tags til Christmas stamp set. The sentiment is from the wheel Jolly Jingles. I rarely buy wheels but I saw a great tip on Splitcoast. I took the stamp off the wheel, mounted it on some EZ Mount cling foam and then cut the words apart. I got 15 Christmas greetings for $8.50! And it was surprisingly easy to cut apart. Love this! I embossed the mat behind the ornament with the Petals a Plenty folder. The DSP is Candy Cane Christmas from the Holiday mini. I added some ruffled ribbon and a Glimmer brad. Thanks for stopping by!

Three Challenges in One!
This is a first for me. I've never done one card for three challenges before. I have to say, I really like how this card turned out! These challenges worked really well together. I used the color combo from Color Q - cQc51. The sketch is from Paper Pal Arts - PPA61. I haven't played along with the Paper Pal blog in awhile. I love this sketch! Finally, I found a new challenge blog, SU Only Challenges - SUOC2. I'm going to like playing along with SU only challenges!
For my card, I used the stamp set Just Believe. I used my markers to color the stamp. The combo is Old Olive, Poppy Parade, Peach Parfait and So Saffron. The SU Only challenge was to use the Big Shot. I cut my Old Olive tag with the Lots of Tags sizzlet. I layed my sentiment from the set On Your Birthday with the Oval punch. I used my corner rounder on the main image and finished with some pearls. Thanks for stopping by!

Color Q & 2 Sketches 4 You Challenges
Here's my card for a couple of this week's challenges. This is for cQc46 and 2S4Y59. I used the stamp set Punched Posies. This is a hostess set from the Summer Mini. I got it with my last order and decided to give it a try tonight. I think I like it! The colors are Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, Wild Wasabi, Baja Breeze and Very Vanilla. For punches I used the Butterfly, Slot, and Scallop Trim border. I embossed with the Square Lattice folder and finished with a designer button. My sentiment is from Fabulous Phrases. I think this is one of the most versatile sets in the new catalog. It's great for cards and scrapbooking. And I just love the font! Thanks for stopping by.

ColorQ 45 & 2Sketches4You 58
I made this card for a couple of this week's challenges - cQc45 and 2s4y58. The stamp set is from SU and it's called Cottage Garden. The set has a nice mix of images and I really like the sentiment. The color combo is Regal Rose, Wild Wasabi, Tempting Turquoise and Early Espresso. The pattern paper is some I pulled from my stash. I think it's from The Angel Company. The tag is a die cut from Spellbinders. I also used a couple border punches. I finished this off with a little ribbon and some pearls. I don't have any Early Espresso ribbon yet so I just took a piece of white and pressed it into my stamp pad a few times to pick up the ink. That's a great way to expand your ribbon choices. I always have white on hand! Thanks for stopping by.

Splitcoast SC291 and Color Q cQc43
Here's a card for a couple challenges. I used this week's sketch challenge from Splitcoast - SC291 and the color challenge from Color Q - cQc43. I'm having a lot of fun playing around with my new set Butterfly Prints. I'm not usually a butterfly kinda girl but this set is awesome. Making a cute card is so fast and easy! The color combo is Early Espresso, Peach Parfait, Old Olive and Bermuda Bay. I used the butterfly and slot punches. Behind my sentiment I stamped the flourish from Vintage Vogue in Crumb Cake. The DSP is from the In Color Pattern Pack. Thanks for stopping by!!

Happy New House and ColorQ 38
I have a good friend who just bought a new house so I wanted to send her a card. The SU set Good Neighbors is perfect for that. This card is also for this week's challenge at the Color Q - cQc38. The colors are Riding Hood Red, Pumpkin Pie, Bordering Blue and Kiwi Kiss. This was a tough combo for me but I really like how my "street" turned out. Lots of Stamp-a-Ma-Jig on this one! I also had a left over flower cut out sitting on my desk so I decided to use that too. Most of the DSP is old. The flower was die cut with the Island Floral die from Island Oasis paper. For punches I used Scallop border, Large Oval, Modern Label, Word Window and 5 Petal flower. A little pearl and button to finish it off. Thanks for stopping by!!
