New Apothecary Art with Framelits

For this card I pulled out lots of new goodies!  This is the first project I have made with the new set Apothecary Art.  I love that it coordinates with the new Framelits Label dies.  I colored the flowers with a little ink and my blender pen.  My sentiment is from the set Perfect Words.  I really like the font on this particular stamp.  My DSP is one of the new choices for Sale-a-Bration this year.  It's called Everyday Enchantment and it's just lovely.  Love the distressed edges!  My color combo is Lucky Limeade, Pool Party and Poppy Parade.  I added a row of pearls to finish it off.  Thanks for stopping by!

Mouthwatering Sweet Treats

Here's another card I made with the new Mouthwatering stamp set.  I paired this with some Sweet Shop DSP.  I really like that a couple sheets in this pack are embossed.  On this card the polka dot pattern is embossed.  It's a little hard to make out in the picture but it's very nice in real life.  My color combo is Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Wisteria Wonder and Soft Suede.  My ice cream cone is die cut with one of the new label Framelits. I added some ruffled ribbon, baker's twine and a designer brad for embellishment.  My sentiment is from the set Teeny Tiny Wishes.  I punched that with the jewelry tag punch.  Finally, the bottom corners on all my layers are rounded.  Thanks for stopping by!

Shabby Shoppe Template Challenge 19

Here's a quick layout I put together with some photos from my trip to Vegas this fall.  We had a really great time sightseeing and checking out all the cool hotels.  I used a template from the Shabby Shoppe - Challenge 19.  My kit is called Winter Chic also from the Shabby Shoppe.  This kit is intended for winter layouts but the colors really matched my photos so I thought it was a good fit for this page.  I used a couple different fonts - SF Ellie Everyday and CK Elegant.  Thanks for stopping by!

Candy Conversations Valentine

I just couldn't resist this single stamp from the new Occasions mini.  It's called Candy Conversations.  I used a non traditional color scheme for this valentine - Wisteria Wonder, Lucky Limeade and Pool Party.  I punched the hearts out and popped each one up.  I made a banner with the petite pennant punch.  My DSP is also from the new mini.  It's called Sweet Shop.  I embellished my banner with some Itty Bitty buttons and Baker's Twine.  Finally I added a strip punched with the scallop ribbon punch.  Thanks for stopping by!

New Sale-a-Bration Goodies

Here's my first project with some new Sale-a-Bration goodies.  I really love this new suite of products from the upcoming Sale-a-Bration promotion.  The stamp set is called Fresh Vintage.  I colored directly on the stamp with my markers and then spritzed the whole image a little.  My DSP is part of the same suite.  It's called Everyday Enchantment.  There are matching brads and ribbons too!  The color combo is Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade, and Pool Party.  My sentiment is from the set You're a Gem.  I punched that with the Curly Label punch.  My card base is embossed with the Final Press folder.  Thanks for stopping by!

New Occasions Mini Goodies!

I got my preorder this week from the new Occasions Mini.  I love this mini!  There are so many awesome sets and accessories in this next mini.  I was tempted to spend way too much this time!  I manged a little restraint...lol.  Here's my first project.  I used the stamp set called Mouthwatering.  I colored the stamps with my markers.  My color combo is Lucky Limeade, Wisteria Wonder and Soft Suede.  This new DSP is super cute!  It's called Sweet Shop.  I love all the patterns.  My sentiment is from a retired set called Sweet Scoops.  I stamped this on a label cut with one of our new Framelits.  This nesting set of dies is awesome!  I love the shape.  I'm going to get a lot of use from these dies.  I embellished my card with some Baker's Twine and a new Jelly Bean Designer brad.  I'm so happy to have some new toys!  Thanks for stopping by.

Tiny Teacup Hello

I don't buy a whole lot of single stamps but I did pick up this cute little cup.  It's called Tiny Teacup.  My color combo is Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, Wild Wasabi and Blushing Bride.  The striped and polka dot DSPs are from the pack Just Add Cake.  I embossed the background panel with the Houndstooth folder.  My sentiment is part of the same stamp.  I actually trimmed the greeting away from the cup and made two separate stamps.  It worked great and now I can use them separately.  I layered both the "hello" and teacup on some circle punches.  I finished the whole thing off with a little scalloped dotted ribbon.  Thanks for stopping by!

Up, Up & Away with Beyond the Garden

I love how this card turned out!  Up, Up and Away is one of my all time favorite sets.  I think I've loved all the cards I've made with this set.  My color combo is Pacific Point, Wild Wasabi and Basic Gray.  The DSP is called Beyond the Garden.  I used my Tasteful Trim die for the big scallop strip and layered the scallop ribbon punch on top.  My sentiment is from the same set.  I used my circle and scallop circle punches and then popped the whole thing up on some dimensionals.  Finally I corner rounded the bottom left corner on all my layers.  Thanks for stopping by!

Summer Vacation MDS Page

We had a great summer vacation this year.  We went to Hampton Beach, NH with my hubby's brother and his family.  The weather was awesome and I got some great shots!  It's so much fun to scrap good pictures.  For this page I used My Digital Studio with a kit from Sweet Shoppe Designs.  The kit is called Under the Boardwalk.  The font I used is called Halo Handletter.  Thanks for stopping by!
