Crazy, Mixed Up Love

I bought this set awhile ago and finally got a chance to play with it.  The images are super cute and I love the puns!  I went with bright colors with lots of white space.  The tape images were a little tricky to line up but well worth the effort!

Stamps:  Crazy, Mixed Up Love, Tape It

Mom's Workshop Projects

I have a workshop coming up for my Mom and her friends.  Here are the projects I have planned.  I kept them both pretty simple but used lots of new goodies.
For this card I used the set Mosaic Madness and the coordinating punch.  My color combo includes a couple new In Colors - Pistachio Pudding, Crisp Cantaloupe, Early Espresso and Crumb Cake.  My sentiment is from the set Sweet Essentials.  I rounded the bottom corners and added a pearl for embellishment.
My second project uses the set Six-Sided Sampler and the coordinating punch.  I used the Gingham wheel for the background panel.  My color combo is Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Midnight Muse and Marina Mist.  My sentiment is from the hostess set called Express Yourself.  I added a small punched flower and a Candy Dot to finish it off.  Thanks for stopping by!

Six-Sided Sampler

Here's my first card with the new set Six-Sided Sampler.  Hexagons are trendy right now.  And luckily it's a trend I like!  This set has a coordinating punch so it's super easy to make a cute card.  My color combo is Basic Gray, Pool Party and Gumball Green.  The DSP strips are from the pack called Epic Day.  That's it....cute and simple.  Thanks for stopping by!

Label Love

I think my favorite part of the This and That suite is the DSP.  It's called Epic Day.  The colors work really well together and I love the grungy look.  On this card I also used some Washi Tape.  This is a product that's new to me but I can see a lot of uses for it.  I like the semi transparency.  My focal image is from the set Label Love.  There's a coordinating punch for this set.  I layered that on a diecut from the Floral Frames set.  My color combo is Pool Party, Calypso Coral and Basic Gray.  I added a couple buttons to finish it off.  Thanks for stopping by!

Mosaic Madness

I haven't been doing much stamping lately.  I guess it's just been one of those creative slumps.  I'm hoping some of the goodies from the new catalog will snap me out of it!  I love this new set and coordinating punch called Mosaic Madness.  You can easily make repeating patterns and interesting backgrounds.  My color combo is Strawberry Slush, Island Indigo and Pool Party.  The DSP is called Quatrefancy.  The sentiments are from the set Teeny Tiny Wishes.  I stamped those on a label from the Apothecary Accents Framelit set.  I added a couple rhinestones and some Vintage Faceted buttons for embellishments.  Thanks for stopping by!

Masked Bright Blossoms

Here's a clean and simple card I made using the masking technique.  This is a great way to create multiple layers without actually using another layer of card stock.  I masked the center of my Whisper White layer with a couple Post-It-Notes.  I stamped the various flowers from the Bright Blossoms and Itty Bitty Bits sets.  For colors I used Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive.  I removed the mask and stamped my sentiment from the set Bring on the Cake.  I popped that whole layer up with some dimensionals.  Piece of cake!  Thanks for stopping by.

Bloomin Marvelous

Even though Sale-a-Bration is over I just can't get enough of this stamp set.  It's so versatile and really easy to make a great card!  It's also nice that it has a few sentiments in the set as well.  My color combo is Midnight Muse, Crumb Cake and Baja Breeze.  I used the coordinating Bitty Butterfly punch.  Another big plus for this set!  My frame is die cut with the Labels Collection Framelit.  I used the coordinating piercing template and popped the layer up on some dimensionals.  I added a few pearls to dress it up a little.  Thanks for stopping by!
