Here's a quick little project I made to showcase the Paisley Petals DSP. I bought this mini notebook at the dollar store quite a while ago and finally got around to using it! I kept the design pretty simple because the paper is so pretty I didn't want to cover it up. Also for this kind of project any little embellishment would probably just be in the way. I think the notebook is more useful if you don't have to worry about it coming apart! I covered the spine with some old DSP I had laying around. I have no idea what it's called...sorry! I find the best adhesive for this kind of project is Mono liquid glue. It really holds but you do have a few seconds to get your pieces just right before it sticks. I added a strip of Cherry Cobbler punched with the Scallop Ribbon punch. I also made a coordinating pen. I just wound a small piece of DSP around the ink barrel and slid it into the pen. I think I'll keep this little notebook for myself!! Thanks for stopping by.
